Job Description
About The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Lead DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and scale robust infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in driving DevOps maturity, enabling cloud-native architecture, and ensuring high availability and performance of applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for faster and reliable deployments
- Build and manage scalable infrastructure on AWS/Azure Cloud platforms
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Manage and orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes/Docker
- Monitor systems, applications, and infrastructure using tools like Grafana, ELK
- Drive DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability assessments and security automation
- Perform incident management, root cause analysis, and system improvements
- Collaborate with development, QA, and support teams for seamless deployments
- Automate operational processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort
- Define and enforce best practices for DevOps lifecycle and release management
Must-Have Skills
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering
- Strong expertise in AWS or Azure (VPC, EC2, S3, EKS, Lambda, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Strong knowledge of Linux, networking, and system administration
- Experience in container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, Go)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Salt)
- Understanding of DevOps best practices and automation frameworks
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud-native architecture
- Familiarity with Helm, ArgoCD, GoCD
- Knowledge of monitoring & logging tools (Grafana, ELK Stack)
- Exposure to security automation and compliance frameworks
