Full Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Executive / Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, taxation compliance, and financial record maintenance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in bookkeeping, GST, TDS, reconciliations, and accounting software, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.

This role is ideal for professionals seeking growth in Accounting, Finance, and Taxation within a structured and fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day books of accounts including Journal, Ledger, Cash Book, and Bank Book
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable (AP/AR) and ensure timely reconciliations
• Perform bank reconciliations, vendor payments, and expense management
• Prepare and process invoices, receipts, debit/credit notes, and expense vouchers
• Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• File GST returns, TDS returns, and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance
• Maintain compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and internal policies
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits
• Maintain proper financial documentation and records
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and taxation
• Hands-on experience with Tally ERP / Tally Prime, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred) and MS Office
• Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• Experience in bank reconciliation, invoicing, and vendor management
• Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
• Good communication, coordination, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced accounting environment
