We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW or LCSW) who is passionate about clinical work, excited about being part of a startup, and motivated to grow with the company while helping shape its future.
Position Overview
The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide clinical and therapeutic services to individuals, families, and/or groups. This role is ideal for a clinician who enjoys meaningful client work, values autonomy, and wants to actively contribute to building and growing a mission-driven practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group psychotherapy
- Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments
- Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
- Diagnose mental health conditions in accordance with DSM-5-TR
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when necessary
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation (progress notes, treatment plans, assessments)
- Collaborate with other providers and referral sources as needed
- Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and HIPAA compliance
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development
- Work closely with leadership to align clinical services with the company vision and growth goals
Qualifications
- Active LICSW or LCSW license (DC or eligible to practice in DC)
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program
- Strong clinical skills in counseling and psychotherapy
- Experience working with diverse populations preferred
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a growing team
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Passion for mental health, healing, and community impact
