Job Description
Role Overview:
As the Project Engineering & Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and driving the complete lifecycle of Renewable Energy projects (100 MW). This includes covering pre-bid and bidding activities, techno-commercial evaluation, engineering coordination, project execution, EPC/vendor management, and site commissioning. Your role will require strong technical depth, commercial acumen, and leadership capabilities to efficiently deliver large-scale Solar & Wind projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct site feasibility studies, land assessments, wind/solar resource analysis, and grid connectivity checks.
- Prepare RFQ/RFP, TOR of the bid document, and float enquiries.
- Analyze tender documents (Solar & Wind) including technical specifications, commercial terms, SLAs, and contractual conditions.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Finance, SCM, Legal, and Management teams for bid strategy and internal approvals.
- Evaluate BOQ, technical design parameters, cost drivers, and project constraints to develop competitive proposals.
- Lead the complete bid preparation process, including technical proposal, cost estimation, financial models, and bid documentation.
- Support post-bid clarifications, negotiation meetings, contract alignment, and final award processes.
- Prepare agenda for Project kick off meeting and finalize major terms of project schedules.
- Review and approve detailed engineering documents for Solar PV systems, WTGs, BoP systems, substations, transmission lines, SCADA, and associated infrastructure.
- Evaluate EPC proposals and supervise EPC execution during the project phase.
- Track major clearances and approvals for project execution in a timely manner.
- Oversee testing and commissioning of Solar & Wind projects, including PR validation, plant availability, CUF evaluation, SCADA integration, and grid synchronization.
Qualification Required:
- B.Tech/B.E. in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy Engineering.
- 15-20 years of experience in large-scale power plants, including 5-8 years in a leadership role.
- Certifications such as PMP, PSP, or PRINCE2 are an advantage.
- Certifications in Project Management / Solar PV Technology will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge on Primavera P6/MS Project, MS Excel (advanced), and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is an advantage.
