Server/Bartender

Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and experience in food and beverage service. As a Server/Bartender, you will create a welcoming atmosphere for guests, craft drinks, and ensure an exceptional experience for all patrons. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, knowledge of POS systems, and adherence to food safety standards. Previous restaurant experience and familiarity with Toast POS are preferred. The position offers an engaging environment where hospitality skills are valued and developed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in a timely manner
• Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations
• Operate POS systems accurately for order processing and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
• Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol regulations at all times
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations efficiently during busy hours
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using cashiering systems
• Assist in food service when required, including serving food or managing food handling procedures

Experience

• Previous restaurant or food industry experience preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar POS systems is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and processing transactions accurately
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
• Experience in hospitality or food service industries is considered an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
