Job Description

Experience with Active Directory and identity operations is a strong plus, particularly to assist with IAM-related operational tickets, service accounts, and process automation. Hands-on experience administering and supporting Exchange Online and Exchange On-Premises in a hybrid environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of the messaging platform. Proven ability to execute Microsoft 365 eDiscovery requests in support of legal and compliance cases, including accurate data retrieval, strict chain-of-custody, and enforcement of retention and litigation hold requirements. Experience training and supporting Legal and Compliance stakeholders on eDiscovery tools, processes, and best practices to improve self-service and operational efficiency. Strong experience administering and optimizing email security solutions, including policy tuning and threat detection to protect against spam, phishing, and malware. Demonstrated collaboration with Security and Compliance teams to strengthen email protection, governance controls, and overall messaging security posture. Experience supporting IAM operations, including service account lifecycle management with a focus on least-privilege access and security compliance. Ability to identify and implement automation opportunities for IAM and Exchange tasks using PowerShell or similar scripting tools. Experience improving user experience through streamlined onboarding, mailbox provisioning, and access management workflows. Participation in initiatives to modernize and standardize IAM and messaging processes, driving operational efficiency and consistency. Strong hands-on experience with Exchange Online, Exchange Server, and hybrid environments. Solid understanding of email security technologies (EOP, Proofpoint, DMARC, SPF, DKIM). Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools. Working knowledge of Active Directory and IAM operational processes. Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance features. Strong understanding of SMTP, mail routing, and mail flow troubleshooting. Ability to work independently in a contractor role with minimal supervision. Clear and effective communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to collaborate across Security, Legal, Compliance, IAM, and Service Desk teams. Strong documentation and process-oriented mindset. Proactive approach to automation and continuous improvement. Microsoft Certified: Exchange Online Administrator Associate Troubleshoot mail flow issues, delivery failures, access problems, and security-related concerns. Handle escalations from the Service Desk and provide root-cause analysis for recurring issues. Proofpoint Certified Specialist (PCS) - Email Security CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certifications (preferred, not mandatory) Occasionally work during odd hours to support project go-lives or coordinate with team member in other time zones for critical projects. Performs tasks necessary to complete performance objectives.
