The Project Manager will be responsible for leading and delivering complex IT projects within a government/public sector environment. This role requires full lifecycle project ownership, strong stakeholder management, and experience in

cloud/SaaS or system integration projects

The ideal candidate will have proven experience managing large-scale, multi-stakeholder IT initiatives while adhering to

governance

, compliance, and reporting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

• Manage full project lifecycle from initiation to closure
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
• Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies

Stakeholder & Communication Management

• Engage with business, IT, vendors, and executive stakeholders
• Provide regular status reporting and governance updates
• Facilitate meetings, steering committees, and decision-making forums

Risk, Budget & Governance

• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks
• Manage project budgets (≥ $500K projects)
• Ensure compliance with government governance frameworks

Technical & Delivery Oversight

• Lead cloud/SaaS or system integration projects
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams
• Drive Agile / Hybrid project delivery methodologies

Must-Have Qualifications

• PMP or PRINCE2 Certification (Mandatory)
• Experience managing

minimum 3 complex IT projects

, each with:

• Cloud/SaaS or system integration components
• Strong end-to-end project accountability (not just coordination)
• Ability to work

100% onsite in Regina, Saskatchewan

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in public sector / government IT projects
• Experience with formal governance and audit environments
• Strong Agile / Hybrid delivery experience
• Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Organizational Change Management exposure
