Job Description

Job Summary The Sr. Front Office Manager is responsible for overseeing all front desk operations at the resort, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth check-in/check-out processes, and efficient coordination with other departments to deliver a high-quality guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

1. Front Office Operations

  • Manage daily front desk activities (check-in, check-out, reservations)
  • Ensure smooth guest flow and minimize waiting time
  • Monitor room availability and coordinate with housekeeping

2. Guest Experience & Service

  • Welcome VIP guests and handle special requests
  • Resolve guest complaints and ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain high standards of hospitality and service

3. Team Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise front office staff (receptionists, concierge, bell desk)
  • Prepare duty rosters and manage shifts
  • Conduct performance evaluations and training programs

4. Reservations & Revenue Coordination

  • Oversee booking systems and reservation accuracy
  • Coordinate with sales and revenue teams to maximize occupancy
  • Manage room rates, upgrades, and promotions

5. Billing & Financial Control

  • Ensure accurate guest billing and payment processing
  • Monitor daily revenue reports and cash handling
  • Handle discrepancies and audit front office accounts

6. Coordination with Departments

  • Work closely with housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance teams
  • Ensure rooms are ready and guest requests are fulfilled on time
  • Facilitate smooth communication across departments

7. Compliance & Safety

  • Ensure adherence to resort policies and local regulations
  • Maintain guest data privacy and security
  • Handle emergency situations and guest safety procedures

Required Skills

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS software)
  • Customer-focused mindset

Qualifications

  • Graduate in Hotel Management or Hospitality (preferred)
  • 5–10 years of experience in front office operations
  • Prior experience in resorts or hotels preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
