Job Summary

We are looking for a Front Office Executive / Guest Service Associate (GSA) responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience for hotel guests. The role includes handling reservations, assisting guests with inquiries, coordinating with housekeeping and other departments, and maintaining a welcoming front desk environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Guest Check-In & Check-Out

  • Welcome guests upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Verify booking details, process payments, and issue room keys.
  • Maintain accurate guest records in the hotel system.

2. Guest Assistance & Customer Service

  • Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional manner.
  • Provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Ensure guests have a pleasant and comfortable stay.

3. Reservations Management

  • Manage room reservations through phone, email, and online platforms.
  • Update availability and booking details in the hotel management system.
  • Coordinate with travel agents and online booking channels.

4. Coordination with Departments

  • Communicate guest requests with housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage teams.
  • Ensure rooms are ready before guest arrival.
  • Coordinate for special guest arrangements and VIP services.

5. Billing & Documentation

  • Prepare guest bills, process payments, and maintain transaction records.
  • Handle cash, card payments, and billing queries.

6. Front Desk Operations

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk area.
  • Follow hotel policies and ensure security procedures are maintained.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or Tourism.
  • 2–5 years of experience in front office operations in a hotel or hospitality environment.

Required Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good customer service and problem-solving ability.
  • Knowledge of hotel reservation or property management systems such as
  • Opera PMS
  • IDS Next
  • Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, email, reservations systems).

Preferred Skills

  • Multilingual communication abilities.
  • Experience in luxury or business hotels.
  • Professional grooming and presentation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
