Senior Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineer

Role Overview:

You will be joining the Corporate IT Cloud Infrastructure Operations team at Deutsche Brse Group as a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) focused on Cloud Native Platforms (GCP/Azure). Your role will involve designing, deploying, and managing scalable and reliable systems in GCP and Azure, integrating AI/ML technologies for automation, and collaborating with development teams to ensure high availability and scalability of applications in a highly regulated financial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and reliable systems in GCP and Azure using serverless technologies, containerization, AI/ML, and PaaS-based infrastructure as code with a strong emphasis on automation and observability.
• Integrate AI/ML technologies into internal tools and workflows to enhance automation and efficiency.
• Operate and maintain geo-redundant, business-critical services leveraging automation and observability tools to ensure transparency and fast issue resolution.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and scalability of applications.

Qualifications Required:

• Proven experience as a DevOps/SRE Engineer or in a similar role.
• Expertise in managing and optimizing GCP or Azure cloud-native services and AI/ML integration.
• Experience or knowledge of container technology such as Docker, Build, and Kubernetes (GKE, AKS).
• Must have at least 2 years of scripting and programming experience in Python, Bash, etc.
• Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools, particularly Terraform and Argo CD.
• Familiarity with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Open Telemetry.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD concepts.
