Corporate Real Estate Attorney

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Real Estate Attorney to provide expert legal counsel on various real estate transactions and corporate matters. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in negotiating contracts, managing lease agreements, and ensuring compliance with zoning laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate real estate transactions, including purchase agreements and leases.
• Negotiate and draft contracts, including lease agreements, amendments, and deeds.
• Conduct due diligence for property transactions and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Advise on zoning laws and land use planning to mitigate risks associated with real estate investments.
• Manage litigation matters related to real estate and corporate transactions.
• Oversee title insurance processes and closing procedures for real estate deals.
• Collaborate with corporate clients to develop strategies for risk management in real estate transactions.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Washington DC and Ohio.
• Proven experience as a corporate real estate attorney.
• Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, lease agreements, and property transactions.
• Familiarity with due diligence processes and zoning laws.
• Experience in regulatory compliance and risk management in real estate.
• Excellent drafting skills for purchase agreements, leases, and other legal documents.
• Ability to navigate complex transactions and communicate effectively with clients.
