Boutique (10+ Years) Plaintiff Personal Injury Firm Seeking Associate Attorney for in Rockville, MD
A boutique plaintiff personal injury firm based in Rockville, Maryland is seeking an Attorney with 2-10+ years of experience to join a high-volume plaintiff personal injury practice. This is a fully onsite role with meaningful responsibility across pre-litigation and litigation, including trial work in Maryland General District Court and Circuit Court. The firm is looking for a hands-on litigator who can manage cases from demand through trial while overseeing pre-litigation support staff.
This role offers significant autonomy with no set daily schedule, though 40-50 hours per week is expected based on case and trial demands. Attorneys are trusted to manage their own time and take periodic personal time off, with approximately 2-3 weeks per year viewed as acceptable depending on trial schedules.
Offer:
Base salary of $100,000-$140,000+ with total compensation projected around $150,000-$160,000

Qualifications
2-10+ years of plaintiff personal injury experience focused on motor vehicle cases
Maryland Bar admission required
DC Bar admission is a plus
Virginia Bar admission is a strong plus
Plaintiff pre-litigation experience is a plus
District Court trial experience required, Circuit Court trial experience preferred
Responsibilities
Managing motor vehicle and catastrophic injury cases from pre-litigation through trial
Overseeing pre-litigation paralegal staff and case development
Drafting and submitting settlement demands
Conducting bench trials in General District Court and litigating matters in Circuit Court
Strategic case management, negotiations, and trial preparation
Maintaining client communication and case strategy through resolution
