Senior Full-Stack Developer – Cyber IAM & Identity Engineering Federal

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to join a Cyber IAM team within a large, security-critical enterprise environment. You'll design and build identity lifecycle tooling, access governance workflows, and secure web applications that sit at the heart of how the organization manages who has access to what — and why.

This isn't a generic web dev contract. You'll be working on LRA-style delegated administration models, entitlement lifecycle automation, request/approval/execution workflows, and audit infrastructure — all built on the Microsoft identity stack. If you've spent years wishing IAM platforms did things properly and want to actually build it right, this is that role.

What You'll Do

• Build secure, scalable web applications using React, Angular, or Next.js on the frontend and Node.js/Express on the backend
• Design and consume RESTful APIs, with deep integration into Microsoft Graph API and Azure services
• Implement authentication flows using MSAL, manage token lifecycles, and enforce OAuth 2.0 / OpenID Connect best practices
• Architect identity and entitlement lifecycle capabilities in Microsoft Entra ID: delegated admin models, RBAC, separation of duties, least-privilege controls
• Build request/approval/execution workflows with business rule enforcement, data validation, and guardrails against unauthorized assignments
• Implement comprehensive audit logging, traceability, and operational telemetry for all identity changes
• Deploy and manage applications across Azure App Service, Key Vault, Storage, Front Door, Logic Apps, and Log Analytics
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
• Explore and integrate Generative AI and agentic framework concepts (Microsoft Agent Framework, Foundry) into enterprise solutions
• Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and produce clear technical documentation

What You Bring

• 7+ years as a developer on enterprise-scale projects
• 3+ years implementing large-scale IAM solutions in complex environments
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript proficiency
• Hands-on experience with React, Angular, or Next.js, plus Node.js and Express
• Deep familiarity with Microsoft Graph API, MSAL, Entra ID, and the broader Azure identity ecosystem
• Expertise in OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, delegated vs. application permissions, and token-based security
• Experience with identity governance concepts: entitlement management, access lifecycle, delegated administration, auditability
• Track record building auditable, security-sensitive systems aligned with Zero Trust principles
• Azure DevOps CI/CD experience
• Ability to produce clear, business-consumable documentation
• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field

Nice to Have

• Experience with IAM/IGA platforms like Entra ID Governance, SailPoint, or similar
• Background in banking, financial services, or government
• Agile and DevOps methodology experience
• Familiarity with Zero Trust architectures and cloud security patterns at enterprise scale
