Senior Business Analyst – Cyber Security Operations Federal Financial Sector | Remote | 1-Year Contract (Renewable)

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support a high-impact Cyber Security Operations team. This is a fully remote, full-time contract role (37.5 hrs/week).

What You'll Do

• Translate complex cyber and business requirements into clear, structured deliverables (BRDs, functional specs, use cases, traceability matrices)
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and delivery partners
• Support Agile/SCRUM sprints: backlog grooming, user stories, acceptance criteria, demos
• Contribute to risk registers, change impact assessments, and project reporting
• Support UAT, solution design discussions, and transition-to-operations planning

What You Bring

• 5+ years of IT/information security experience
• 5+ years as a Business Analyst on complex projects
• Strong track record producing structured BA artifacts in Agile and waterfall environments
• Clear, confident communicator with both technical and executive stakeholders
• Eligible for Secret-level Government of Canada security clearance (must have resided in Canada 5+ years)

Assets

• CBAP, CCBA, PMP, or SCRUM Master certification
• Experience with Microsoft Azure / cloud projects
• Bilingual (English/French)
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
