Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to support a high-impact Cyber Security Operations team. This is a fully remote, full-time contract role (37.5 hrs/week).
What You'll Do
- Translate complex cyber and business requirements into clear, structured deliverables (BRDs, functional specs, use cases, traceability matrices)
- Act as liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and delivery partners
- Support Agile/SCRUM sprints: backlog grooming, user stories, acceptance criteria, demos
- Contribute to risk registers, change impact assessments, and project reporting
- Support UAT, solution design discussions, and transition-to-operations planning
What You Bring
- 5+ years of IT/information security experience
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst on complex projects
- Strong track record producing structured BA artifacts in Agile and waterfall environments
- Clear, confident communicator with both technical and executive stakeholders
- Eligible for Secret-level Government of Canada security clearance (must have resided in Canada 5+ years)
Assets
- CBAP, CCBA, PMP, or SCRUM Master certification
- Experience with Microsoft Azure / cloud projects
- Bilingual (English/French)
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
