Data Scientist Associate

We are hiring Data Scientist! Role: Data Scientist (Associate Level) Supporting: Large Financial Services Client Location: McLean, VA (Onsite – Full Time) Assignment Type: Contract Only Duration: Approximately 6 months (through October 16, with potential extension)Role Overview:We are seeking a hands-on, analytically driven Data Scientist to help expand and operationalize existing analytical methodologies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys coding, turning data into insights, and building production-ready analytics and dashboards that drive real-world decisions.Key Responsibilities:Develop and enhance Python-based analytical solutionsCodify existing methodologies into scalable, production-ready applicationsBuild and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizationsTranslate business problems into analytical solutions and actionable insightsCollaborate closely with team leads on problem-solving and executionContribute to and improve existing analytics tools and workflowsQualifications:~3+ years of analytical, quantitative, or portfolio-related experienceStrong hands-on experience with PythonExperience building or supporting dashboards or UI-driven analyticsWorking knowledge of SQL for data access and integrationAbility to bridge technical development and business needsFinancial services or banking experience is a plus (not required)Experience with React or similar front-end frameworks is preferred Compensation and Benefits:The pay rate for this position is between $45.00 and $52.00 per hour.
