Job Description

The HR - Compliance and Benefits role is responsible for ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations, as well as managing employee benefits programs. This position requires a strong understanding of HR compliance requirements and the ability to design and administer effective benefits packages.

Key Responsibilities:

 Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws, regulations, and company policies.

 Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws.

 Stay up-to-date with changes in employment laws and regulations, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.

 Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas of non-compliance and develop corrective action plans.

 Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as legal counsel and regulatory agencies, to address compliance issues.

 Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.

 Coordinate with benefit providers to ensure accurate and timely enrollment, termination, and changes to employee benefit plans.

 Conduct regular reviews of benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational goals.

 Educate employees on available benefits options and provide guidance on benefits-related inquiries.

 Support the annual benefits open enrollment process, including communication, employee education, and system administration.

Qualification and Requisite:

 Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master degree preferred).

 Minimum of 10 - 12 years of experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR compliance and benefits administration.

 Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.

 Experience developing and implementing HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance.

 Familiarity with benefit plan design, administration, and compliance requirements.

 Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing HR data and documentation.

 Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration systems.

 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and apply complex regulations.

 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex HR and benefits information to employees.

 Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with integrity.
