Ciklum is looking for a Expert Data Scientist to join our team full-time in India.

About the role

As a Expert Data Scientist, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities

Design and develop machine learning and AI models to solve complex business problems

Lead end-to-end model lifecycle: data exploration modeling validation

deployment
Work on Generative AI / LLM-based applications where applicable
Collaborate with Data Engineers to define data requirements and pipelines
Translate business problems into scalable analytical solutions
Perform advanced statistical analysis and experimentation
Drive model performance tuning, monitoring, and retraining strategies
Communicate insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.)
Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques
Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow / PyTorch)
Strong experience in data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation
Hands-on experience deploying models into production environments
Strong SQL skills and familiarity with large-scale data systems
Experience working with cloud-based ML platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Desirable:

Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI systems
Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings
Knowledge of MLOps tools and frameworks
Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
Domain expertise in a specific industry (optional)
