Ciklum is looking for a Expert Data Scientist to join our team full-time in India.

About the role
As a Expert Data Scientist, become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop machine learning and AI models to solve complex business problems
Lead end-to-end model lifecycle: data exploration modeling validation
- deployment
- Work on Generative AI / LLM-based applications where applicable
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to define data requirements and pipelines
- Translate business problems into scalable analytical solutions
- Perform advanced statistical analysis and experimentation
- Drive model performance tuning, monitoring, and retraining strategies
- Communicate insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
- Strong proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, etc.)
- Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow / PyTorch)
- Strong experience in data analysis, feature engineering, and model evaluation
- Hands-on experience deploying models into production environments
- Strong SQL skills and familiarity with large-scale data systems
- Experience working with cloud-based ML platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)
Desirable:
- Experience with Generative AI, LLMs, and Agentic AI systems
- Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings
- Knowledge of MLOps tools and frameworks
- Experience with A/B testing and experimentation frameworks
- Domain expertise in a specific industry (optional)
