• Conducting both lectures (classroom) and practical labs (in the studio or editing bays).
• Involving students directly in university production projects to give them hands-on, industry-equivalent experience.
• Pre-Production: Researching stories, writing scripts, scheduling shoots, and managing talent for departmental media projects.
• Production: Directing floor operations in the university studio, operating control room boards, or executing field shoots.
• Post-Production: Supervising or executing the video editing, sound design, and color grading for final content output.
• Live Events: Handling the production, live-streaming, and broadcast of university events, panel discussions, and webinars.
• Organizing industrial visits to newsrooms, advertising agencies, and production houses.
• Assisting in student placement drives and securing internships through professional network connections.

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Master’s Degree in Journalism / Mass Communication / Filmmaking with a high academic score (typically 65% or higher).
• Academic Clearance: Depending on the region (like India), passing national/state eligibility tests (e.g., UGC-NET) or holding a Ph.D. is often preferred for the teaching track.
• Industry Experience: A minimum of 2–3 years of verifiable experience in a real newsroom, production house, TV, Film or digital media agency as a scriptwriter, video editor, or content producer.
