Title: Assistant Manager – Production
Location: Chandigarh University, Gharuan village Mohali, Punjab
Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive Assistant Manager – Production to support the planning and execution of live events. The role involves handling stage setup, sound coordination, and overall production activities to ensure smooth and successful events.
Key Responsibilities:
Stage Management
Assist in planning and setting up stage layouts, props, and equipment
Coordinate with performers, artists, and backstage crew
Ensure smooth stage operations during live events
Manage event timelines and cue flow (entry/exit of performers)
Sound & Technical Coordination:
Work closely with sound engineers and AV teams
Ensure proper setup of microphones, speakers, and audio systems
Conduct sound checks before events
Troubleshoot audio issues during live shows
Production & Operations:
Support the Production Manager in end-to-end event execution
Coordinate with vendors, technicians, and internal teams
Ensure timely setup and dismantling of equipment
Manage logistics and on-ground operations
Handle last-minute changes and problem-solving during events
Required Skills
Good understanding of stage, sound, and event production
Strong coordination and communication skills
Ability to work under pressure in live environments
Problem-solving and quick decision-making
Team management and multitasking
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Media, Production, or related field (preferred)
Relevant certifications in sound/AV are a plus (preferred).
