Business Intelligence Analyst

Position Description

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to provide actionable insights into portfolio performance, focusing on value delivery, flow efficiency, and outcomes rather than traditional status reporting. This role translates complex delivery data into clear insights that drive prioritization, funding, and strategic decisions.

We partner with 15 of the top 20 banks globally, and our top 10 banking clients have worked with us for an average of 26 years!.

This role is located at a client site in either Reston, VA. A hybrid working model is acceptable.

Your future duties and responsibilities

We are looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to provide actionable insights into portfolio performance, focusing on value delivery, flow efficiency, and outcomes rather than traditional status reporting. This role translates complex delivery data into clear insights that drive prioritization, funding, and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track value realization, throughput, cycle time, and bottlenecks
• Design and maintain portfolio dashboards focused on value and flow metrics
• Translate technical delivery signals into business-relevant insights
• Support continuous prioritization and investment decisions
• Ensure visibility into AI/ML initiative impact and value delivery
• Integrate data from ServiceNow, GitLab, AWS, and other systems
• Improve data quality, consistency, and usability
• Enable executive-level storytelling around value delivery and outcomes

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• 7+ years in analytics, program, or portfolio reporting roles
• Strong experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Experience with flow metrics and Lean/Agile reporting models
• Ability to translate engineering metrics into business outcomes
• Familiarity with AWS data environments and pipelines

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $67,300.00 - $108,300.00.
