<p>This position plays a central role in keeping marketing operations organized, on track, and moving forward. The Marketing Coordinator supports the day-to-day functions of the Marketing team and collaborates with property teams, other corporate departments, and external agencies to assist the Marketing Leadership team in supporting marketing efforts to help drive retailer sales and property NOI for our retail real estate portfolio.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>PRINCIPAL JOB ACTIVITIES:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide prompt and efficient executive-level administrative support for the Marketing department. This role supports the day-to-day marketing efforts across a diverse portfolio of retail and mixed-use destinations.</li> <li>Prepare monthly social media performance reports for assigned properties to help track KPIs and measure performance.</li> <li>Direct management and execution of the annual Property Management workshop in collaboration with a cross-functional planning committee.</li> <li>Maintain and update marketing manuals, templates, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency.</li> <li>Assist in the planning and coordination of trade shows, conferences, and industry events.</li> <li>Perform a variety of administrative tasks for marketing, including drafting and distribution of correspondence, expense reports, managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating team communications.</li> <li>Maintain the corporate marketing budget by submitting and coding invoices, tracking expenses, and updating the monthly budget tracker.</li> <li>Support social media coordination and content execution for properties without on-site marketing support.</li> <li>Assist with updates and ongoing maintenance of the corporate website, ensuring accuracy and timely content updates.</li> <li>Support and act as a liaison for creative and design needs, managing project requests, ensuring brand consistency, and providing light design support as relevant. Assist in the creation of department presentations and proposals as needed.</li> <li>Provide marketing support to properties without on-site teams, including generating traffic reports, updating websites, and executing campaigns or initiatives as needed.</li> <li>Track and manage corporate memberships, dues, and subscriptions to ensure they remain current.</li> <li>Maintain organized records of marketing assets, contracts, and projects.</li> </ul> <p>The above job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of duties and standards of the position. Incumbents will follow any other instructions and perform any other related duties as assigned by their supervisor.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>REQUIREMENTS:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field preferred.</li> <li>Minimum 2-3 years of experience, preferably in marketing, event planning, project coordination, retail, or real estate.</li> <li>Self-starter; intrinsically motivated with a strong desire to succeed.</li> <li>Must be able to adapt solutions to new situations requiring reasoning based on experience or interpretation.</li> <li>Strong communicator, both verbal and written.</li> <li>Proficient computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and the internet.</li> <li>Familiarity with basic design tools (i.e., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar) and ability to execute minor design edits using templates, etc.</li> <li>Ability to manage and communicate creative project needs effectively, with a solid understanding of design principles and branding.</li> <li>Strong analytical skills.</li> <li>Ability to take direction and work independently or with others.</li> <li>Strategic thinker with the ability to formulate strategies and frame solutions to complex issues.</li> <li>Team-oriented.</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li> <li>Highly organized - comfortable participating in several different projects at a time along with day-to-day activities.</li> </ul> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
