Independent Sales Representative (Commission-Based) – Teakwood Furniture & Home Décor

We are a well-established importer of premium solid teakwood furniture and home décor, based in Ontario and serving clients across Canada. We are currently seeking a motivated and results-driven Independent Sales Representative to join our growing team.

This is a commission-based opportunity ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a flexible, entrepreneurial environment. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence, developing new business, and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outside sales efforts
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients
• Negotiate pricing and contracts to successfully close deals
• Manage and grow existing accounts to maximize retention and revenue
• Conduct market research to identify trends and expansion opportunities
• Develop and implement targeted marketing strategies
• Track sales activities and client interactions using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
• Understand client needs and provide tailored product solutions
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and service delivery

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or business development
• Strong negotiation and account management skills
• Knowledge of marketing strategies and sales processes
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms (preferred)
• Strong customer service mindset with relationship-building focus
• Ability to work independently and manage your own territory
• Experience in furniture or home décor sales is an asset
