Lead Financial Analyst

Job Title: Manager / Head – Financial Analytics (Power BI) & Centralised Payments

Reports To: Chief Financial Advisor

Location: Tirupur

Key Responsibilities:

• A. Financial Analytics & Power

BI

• Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports covering revenue, cost, cash flow, working capital, payment performance, and other key financial metric

s.

• Develop and manage robust data models, including the use of DAX measures, Power Query (M), and well-structured data relationships, to support reliable self-service reportin

g.

• Establish a source of truth by integrating data from ERP, banking platforms, and other source systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrit

y.

• Translate business questions into analytical solutions, delivering insight on trends, variances, forecasts, and risk areas to support management decision-makin

g.

• Automate recurring financial and management reporting to reduce manual effort and improve turnaround tim

e.

• Define and track relevant KPIs and produce periodic management information packs for senior leadership and the boar

d.

• Partner with IT / data teams on data governance, refresh schedules, access control, and report performance optimisatio

n.

• Promote a data-driven culture by training and supporting finance and business users on Power BI reports and dashboard

s.

B. Heading the Centralised Payments Departm

ent

• Lead and manage the centralised payments function, overseeing the full payment cycle across the organisation (vendor, payroll-related, statutory, intercompany, and other disbursements as applicabl

e).

• Ensure all payments are processed accurately, on time, and in accordance with approved authorisation matrices, internal controls, and company poli

cy.

• Establish, document, and continuously improve standardised payment processes, workflows, and service levels (SLAs) across business uni

ts.

• Maintain strong banking relationships and manage banking platforms, payment channels, and connectivity (e.g. host-to-host, online banking, payment file

s).

• Oversee timely reconciliation of payments, bank accounts, and suspense / clearing accounts, and ensure prompt resolution of exceptio

ns.

• Implement and enforce robust controls to prevent fraud, duplicate payments, and errors, including segregation of duties and approval hierarchi

es.

• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory, tax, and statutory requirements relating to payments and disbursemen

ts.

• Manage, mentor, and develop the payments team, setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and building capabili

ty.

• Support audits (internal and external) by providing documentation, explanations, and evidence of contro

ls.

• Identify and drive automation and process-improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectivene

ss.

Technical & Functional Sk

ills

• Advanced Power BI (data modelling, DAX, Power Query / M, report optimisati

on).

• Strong Excel skills; SQL knowledge is an advant

age.

• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and reporting automat

• Knowledge of payment controls, fraud prevention, and regulatory / compliance requireme

nts.

• Experience with process improvement and automation (e.g. RPA, workflow tools) is a p
