Job Title: Senior SDET – Java Selenium

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) with strong expertise in Java, Selenium, and automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation solutions, collaborate closely with development teams, and ensure high‑quality software releases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit.
• Build robust UI, API, and integration test suites for complex applications.
• Work closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Implement CI/CD‑driven automation pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, or similar.
• Perform code reviews and ensure high‑quality test automation code.
• Diagnose, debug, and document defects; assist developers in root cause analysis.
• Build reusable components for automation and improve framework efficiency.
• Drive quality initiatives, testing best practices, and continuous improvement across teams.
• Work with cloud‑based technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerized environments (Docker/Kubernetes) is a plus.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience as SDET/QA Automation Engineer.
• Strong hands‑on proficiency in:
• Java (core & advanced)
• Selenium WebDriver
• TestNG or JUnit
• Maven/Gradle
• Solid understanding of OOP concepts, design patterns, and test automation best practices.
• Experience with API testing using RestAssured, Postman, or similar tools.
• Working knowledge of SQL for test data validation.
• Experience with CI/CD integration and version control (Git, Bitbucket).
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Preferred/Good to Have

• Experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber, Serenity).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Performance testing knowledge (JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
• Experience testing microservices, event‑driven systems, or message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ).
• Knowledge of container tools (Docker/K8s).
