What you'll do
The Digital Marketing & Content Manager is the primary owner of Canalta's paid media. You will build, manage, optimize, and report on campaigns across digital channels, own budget pacing and performance outcomes, and ensure tracking/measurement is reliable. You'll also maintain social content calendars, coordinate creative approvals, support influencer stays for content capture, and deliver monthly reporting to hotels and operations leadership.
This position will be Hybrid/Remote, with the ideal candidate living in the Calgary area. Candidates can anticipate quarterly travel to the Corporate Office in Drumheller, property visits, and marketing team meet ups in Cochrane.
Digital Advertising:
- Work your magic managing campaigns across platforms like Meta, PPC, Display, Social, and Programmatic Ads via tools owning the DERBYSOFT Marketing platform for OTA Ads, and other Channel Distributions.
Google & Advertising:
- Monitor and optimize Google Ads, tracking pixels, SEO and campaign analytics to keep hitting those marketing sweet spots.
Departmental Reporting:
- Compile clear, insightful monthly reports to share with our hotels and executive operations team.
Content Creation:
- Work with Agency on social media content calendars, social campaign execution, ensuring every post, story, and email reflects our brand voice and persona.
- Assist special bookings for influencers, contest winners, and VIPs
- Coordinate property photography shoots
Design Wrangling:
- Support the creative design process, ensuring the final approvals are on point and align with our Canalta standards.
Loyalty Marketing:
- Support the Marketing initiatives of the Canalta Rewards program as required or assigned.
What You'll Bring:
Experience: A minimum of 3 year's experience in Digital Marketing or relevant hospitality sales/marketing roles
Passion for Hospitality: A genuine love for the industry with a deep commitment to guest satisfaction and a track record of fostering a positive team culture
Creative Mindset: You're not afraid to think outside the box and adapt quickly in a changing environment
Digital Savvy: You're comfortable using the latest hospitality software and social media to engage guests and promote our unique offerings. Derbysoft/KODDI/SOJERN experience an asset.
Leadership skills: strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team - you're a natural relationship builder!
