At BridgeBio, we value curiosity and experimentation—including the ethical & thoughtful use of AI to improve clarity, speed, and quality of work, What You'll Do The Sr. Accounting Manager is an integral part of a growing accounting team and is responsible for overseeing the general ledger close process (including fixed assets, leases, G&A accruals, among others). This role combines hands-on technical accounting responsibilities with people leadership and end-to-end process ownership. The position currently reports to the Director of Accounting and requires close collaboration with various internal business partners and third-party service providers. A successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and is proactive, highly organized, results-oriented, and analytical, with strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. This individual exercises sound judgment, takes ownership of outcomes, and is highly motivated to consistently deliver high-quality results while supporting the growth and scalability of the organization. Responsibilities: <ul> <li>Lead monthly and quarterly close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness for assigned accounts</li> <li>Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules for assigned accounts</li> <li>Manage, coach, and lead two or more team members to support the Company’s evolving business needs</li> <li>Own sections of the quarterly and annual SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K), including preparation and review of footnote disclosures</li> <li>Own complex accounting areas relevant to biotech, including leasing accounting (ASC 842), fixed assets, G&A operating expenses, prepaids and accruals, and taxes</li> <li>Identify and escalate emerging accounting risks in a timely manner and recommend appropriate accounting positions</li> <li>Maintain and enhance SOX-compliant internal controls</li> <li>Coordinate with internal and external auditors and manage audit requests</li> <li>Manage strategic partnerships with FP&A, Tax, Legal, IT and Operations</li> <li>Identify control gaps and implement remediation plans</li> <li>Develop accounting policies, procedures, and documentation</li> <li>Lead process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance data quality</li> <li>Provide mentorship and career development opportunities, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning</li> <li><span style="font-size: 14px;"
