Vendor Manager

About the Role

We are looking for a highly execution-driven professional to join our supply chain team, focused on vendor management and procurement operations . This role sits at the core of our operations, ensuring seamless coordination between vendors and internal stakeholders to maintain a reliable and efficient supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Vendor Sourcing & Finalization
• Support identification and evaluation of suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery
• Assist in negotiations through data preparation and supplier insights
• Conduct vendor feasibility and risk assessments
• Collaborate with procurement, quality, and planning teams for vendor selection
• Vendor Management
• Act as a point of contact for vendors and manage day-to-day communication
• Track vendor performance (delivery timelines, quality, rejection rates)
• Resolve operational issues (delays, dispatch, quality concerns)
• Maintain vendor database, contracts, and compliance records
• Supply Chain Coordination & Risk Mitigation
• Track POs and ensure timely material flow across locations
• Coordinate with logistics to resolve transportation challenges
• Support risk assessment and mitigation initiatives
• Drive alternate sourcing, value engineering & supplier consolidation
• Ensure smooth vendor invoicing and reconciliation
• Data & Analytics
• Analyze vendor performance, cost trends, and supply risks
• Support vendor scorecards and performance reviews
• Identify alternate vendors using data insights
• Contribute to continuous improvement and sourcing strategies

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with manufacturing, quality, logistics & finance teams
• Act as a bridge between vendors and internal stakeholders
• Share regular updates on vendor performance & supply risks

What We’re Looking For

• 4–5 years of experience in Procurement / Supply Chain / Vendor Management
• Strong execution mindset with hands-on experience in vendor coordination
• Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actions
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management skills
