About the role
The Customer Success Operations Specialist supports the efficiency, scalability, and data integrity of the Customer Success organization. This role focuses on systems, processes, and analytics that enable Customer Success Managers and leadership to drive retention, expansion, and an excellent customer experience. The specialist owns daytoday CS tooling, reporting, and process execution, and partners closely with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product, and RevOps.
As a Customer Success Operations Specialist you will:
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports on key metrics (e.g., NRR/GRR, churn, renewal, expansion, product adoption, health scores).
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems (e.g., CRM, CS platform, billing).
- Provide regular operational insights to CS leadership to inform strategy and resourcing.
- Analyze trends and identify opportunities to improve retention, adoption, and process efficiency.
- Document, standardize, and refine Customer Success processes (onboarding, QBRs, renewals, risk management, expansion).
What we’re looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- years of experience in Customer Success Operations, Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Operations, or similar analytical/operations roles.
- Handson experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot) and/or CS platforms (e.g., Gainsight, Totango, ChurnZero, Catalyst)
- Strong analytical skills with experience building reports and dashboards (e.g., in CRM, BI tools, Excel/Google Sheets).
- Comfort working with large data sets, including data validation and troubleshooting.
