Job Description
Our client, fiscally conservative free market focused organization, is seeking a HR manager to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Provide comprehensive HR generalist support across the organization, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
- Manage full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, sourcing, interview coordination, and offer processes
- Oversee employee onboarding, including documentation, orientation, and benefits enrollment
- Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries
- Maintain and optimize HRIS (Paylocity) to support accurate HR operations and reporting
- Support employee relations matters, including coaching, performance management, and policy guidance
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
- Collaborate with leadership, internal teams, and external vendors to support HR operations and initiatives
About You:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of HR generalist experience
- Strong experience with recruiting, onboarding, and HR operations
- Heavy HRIS experience required; Paylocity preferred
- Knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and employee relations
- Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and handle sensitive information
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $38-$43/hr
- Permanent Salary: $80K-$90K
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM
