Job Summary
Responsible for performing microbiological testing, ensuring product quality, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards in a pharmaceutical/manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct microbiological analysis of raw materials, finished products, and water samples
- Perform tests like microbial limit test, sterility test, and environmental monitoring
- Maintain aseptic conditions and follow GMP/GLP guidelines
- Prepare culture media and maintain microbial cultures
- Record and analyze test results accurately
- Handle lab instruments like autoclave, incubator, laminar airflow, etc.
- Ensure cleanliness and proper documentation of the lab
- Assist in audits and regulatory inspections
Required Qualifications:
- B.Sc / M.Sc in Microbiology or related field
- 1–3 years of relevant experience (preferred)
Skills Required:
- Knowledge of microbiological techniques
- Understanding of GMP, GLP, and documentation practices
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer skills (MS Office, reporting)
