Bartender/Server

Job Overview

(must be able to work at night in the bar) We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender/Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Duties

• Take orders accurately from guests, ensuring timely service of food and beverages
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standard recipes and safety guidelines
• Handle cash transactions using POS systems, accurately and efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and dining space
• Ensure compliance with food safety and food handling regulations at all times
• Assist in setting up tables, serving food, and clearing dishes as needed
• Manage multiple tables or bar stations while providing attentive customer service
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming environment and address any special requests or concerns
• Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and monitor guest consumption for safety

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred, especially in bartending or serving roles
• Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and professionalism
• Excellent time management abilities to handle multiple tables or bar orders efficiently
• Basic math skills for cash handling, making change, and calculating bills accurately
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Must be at least 18 years old (or age required by local regulations)

Pay: $15.00-$19.00 per hour
