ABLE TO WORK NIGHTS .We are seeking a friendly and efficient Bartender to join our dynamic hospitality team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, a strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a lively environment where hospitality and attentiveness are valued. Previous restaurant experience, familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS, and food safety knowledge are highly desirable. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, managing cash transactions, and ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
• Greet guests promptly and courteously, creating a welcoming environment
• Use POS systems for order entry, billing, and cash handling
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
• Manage cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
• Ensure responsible alcohol service by monitoring guest consumption and adhering to legal requirements
• Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and support overall restaurant operations
• Uphold food safety standards related to food handling and serving practices
• Handle customer inquiries professionally, providing information about menu items or drink options

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a focus on bartending preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for efficient order processing and cashiering
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling, making change, and managing tabs
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation within hospitality settings
