Role Objective
The Planning Manager will be the strategic lead for multiple project controls in terms of Design Coordination, Procurement Tracking and review integrated Engineering, Procurement, and Construction activities into a unified, high-performance schedule to ensure the successful delivery of fast-track projects.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with multiple projects for
- Integrated Scheduling: Primavera P6 or MS Project (LMS). Knowledge of BIM advantage
- Fast-Track Project Tracking: Monitor daily/weekly progress against the baseline and identify critical path variances early. Implement 2–4 week look-ahead schedules to maintain momentum on fast-track timelines.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the central planning hub, coordinating with Architects, Consultants, and Contractors to resolve drawing discrepancies, material delays, or site bottlenecks.
- Performance Dashboards: Create and maintain sophisticated management dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or similar technological tools. These should visualize KPIs like S-Curves, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Milestone Slippage.
- Management Action Plans: Perform Delay Analysis (Root Cause Analysis) and develop proactive recovery or mitigation plans for management review.
- Risk & Resource Management: Forecast manpower and machinery requirements while identifying potential scheduling risks to prevent budget or timeline overruns.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (Post-graduation in Project Management is a plus).
- Software Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Project. Advanced skills in Excel for data visualization and dashboard creation.
- Industry Experience: Minimum 12 years in project planning, Coordination, Contracts management in EPC projects and fast-track construction.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to translate complex site data into clear, actionable insights for senior management.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to drive alignment between technical consultants and site execution teams
