Warehouse Assistant Manager

Job Summary

The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, staff supervision, logistics coordination, and ensuring efficient storage and distribution of goods. The role ensures that productivity targets are met while maintaining safety, accuracy, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise all warehouse operations (receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods)
• Ensure accurate inventory management and conduct regular stock audits
• Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures
• Monitor and improve operational efficiency and productivity
• Coordinate with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards
• Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff performance
• Maintain warehouse layout for optimal space utilization
• Track and report key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Resolve operational issues and handle escalations

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems (WMS/ERP)
• Leadership and team management skills
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹32,000.00 per month
