About the Role
We’re looking for a FinOps Specialist to support our day-to-day finance operations with a strong focus on Accounts Payable, Reconciliation, Payroll, and Taxation.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone early in their finance career who enjoys structure, precision, and learning the rhythm of financial operations in a fast-moving startup environment. You’ll work closely with our Finance & Operations team to ensure smooth payment cycles, accurate accounting records, and timely statutory compliance.
What You’ll Own :

- Track outstanding payables and coordinate with internal teams for timely closures.
- Support end-to-end vendor payment processing — from invoice validation and approval routing to final disbursement.
- Assist in monthly payroll processing, ensuring accuracy in salary data, deductions, and statutory contributions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).
- Help prepare and maintain taxation-related records, including TDS and GST entries, filings, and reconciliations.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation in tools such as Zoho Books, Tally, or QuickBooks.
- Support month-end closing activities, audits, and compliance checks.
- Collaborate with HR, business operations, and vendors to resolve discrepancies or data mismatches.
- Contribute to small process improvement initiatives that enhance accuracy and efficiency in financial workflows.
What We Need :
- 2–4 years of experience in accounts payable, reconciliation, payroll, taxation, or operational finance.
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles, payroll workflows, and tax compliance.
- Good command over Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and familiarity with ERP/accounting tools (Zoho, Tally, QuickBooks, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and a learning mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Why Aspora :
At Aspora, finance isn’t back-office — it’s the heartbeat of how we build, scale, and grow.
As a FinOps Specialist, you’ll get hands-on exposure across payables, payroll, and taxation, learning how real financial systems operate in a fast-moving fintech environment.
You’ll work closely with sharp, supportive mentors who believe in empowering you early — not just to do the work, but to understand the why behind it. Every day will teach you something new about precision, pace, and problem-solving.
