AscellaHealth | Berwyn, PA | Hybrid Shape the Future of Healthcare We’re seeking a Fulfillment Specialist to join our dynamic team at AscellaHealth, where your expertise will directly contribute to improving health outcomes for patients with complex, chronic conditions and rare diseases. This role offers the opportunity to serve as a vital patient advocate, guiding them through the process of obtaining pharmaceuticals not available through chain pharmacies. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of the referrals by entering any necessary data, assessing specific requests, and performing any required follow-ups. The role is based in our Berwyn, PA office. This position will require to be in the office 5 days a week, Monday through Friday, for the first 90 days for training purposes. About the role Critical parts of the job/Key Responsibilities <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Provide efficient pharmacy hub services linking prescriptions with the pharmacies best able to fulfill the patient’s specialized needs for the lowest possible price.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Utilize established pharmacy/clinical guidelines for decision-making.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Make and receive occasional inbound/outbound calls.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Generate any necessary or requested data and reports.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Work within the Operations department and across different departments to obtain required information.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Maintain a balance of productivity, quality, and timeliness to ensure everything gets accomplished.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Create and support an environment that fosters teamwork, cooperation, respect, and diversity.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Accurate and timely data entry of prior authorization requests within the prior authorization system is required to meet all client-specific and/or contract requirements.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Receive prior authorization requests telephonically while utilizing multiple systems to confirm accuracy of the information being provided.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Apply established pharmacy/clinical guidelines in decision-making.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Establish and maintain a positive communication and professional demeanor with internal and external business partners.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to analyze, adapt, & create resolutions to problematic situations.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Represent AscellaHealth in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others.</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Perform other related duties as assigned or as necessary; remain flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.</li> </ul> What this position will focus on Patient advocacy – You will be the bridge between the patient and their medication. By managing referrals with care and urgency, you directly impact a patient’s ability to access life-changing specialty pharmaceuticals. Operational excellence – Your accuracy in prior authorization processing and adherence to clinical guidelines ensures the delivery of consistent, high-quality service. Cross-functional collaboration – You will build strong relationships with internal teams, pharmacies, prescribers, and payers and contribute to a seamless, connected experience that elevates the entire hub operation. Skills, Education & Abilities Essential Requirements <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Certified Pharmacy Technician</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Specialty and non-specialty pharmaceuticals knowledge</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent written and verbal communication, also interpersonal skills required</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to communicate with all levels within an organization, with clients, and customers</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">To be flexible and adapt to changing processes and procedures is essential</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Excellent analytical skills and the ability to provide solutions to complex problems</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Ability to be highly transparent, ethical, and driven</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Relentless attention to detail along with the ability to be a creative self-starter and team player</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook</li> </ul> Qualifications <ul> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">A high school diploma or equivalent is required</li> <li style="font-size: 12pt;">1 or more years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician</li> </ul>  <div class="content-conclusion">Ready to make an impact?
