Job Description
Job Title: Security System Engineer
Location: Mumbai
Duration: 1 Year (Extendable)
Work Schedule: 5 Days/Week (8 Hours/Day)
Job Purpose:
We are seeking an experienced Security System Engineer with strong expertise in industrial security and surveillance systems within oil & gas or large-scale industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain industrial security systems across plant and facility environments
- Manage and support:
- Access control systems and biometric solutions
- CCTV and video surveillance systems
- Intrusion detection and perimeter security systems
- Integration of security systems with communication networks and control systems
- Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of:
- IDAS (Intrusion Detection and Assessment Systems)
- Siren and emergency alert systems
- Ensure seamless integration of security systems with:
- Plant communication infrastructure
- Process automation systems
- Central monitoring/control systems
- Monitor system performance and ensure redundancy, reliability, and cybersecurity compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to ensure uninterrupted operations
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including telecom, IT, and automation teams
- Ensure adherence to project specifications, international standards, and company security guidelines
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field
- Minimum 8–12 years of experience in security systems engineering within oil & gas / industrial projects
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- CCTV systems, access control, and intrusion detection systems
- Industrial security solutions and system integration
- Security system networking and communication protocols
- Proven expertise in system integration and security infrastructure design
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working on projects or similar Middle East EPC environments
- Familiarity with Aramco security standards and industrial practices
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder coordination skills
Key Deliverables:
- Reliable and secure implementation of all plant security systems
- Seamless integration with plant communication and automation infrastructure
- Compliance with all safety, security, and project standards
Additional Notes:
- Candidates with experience in large-scale gas or refinery projects will be preferred
- Immediate or short-notice availability will be an advantage
