Job Description
Job Title: AWS Account Manager (Mid-Level) Location: Pune, India Experience: 2-5 Years
Job Summary The AWS Account Manager will be responsible for a dedicated set of existing enterprise or mid-market clients. Your goal is to move beyond "selling services" and instead become a strategic advisor. You will ensure customers are maximizing their ROI on the cloud, identifying expansion opportunities, and preventing "churn" (customers moving to Azure or GCP).
Key Responsibilities Strategic Account Planning: Develop and execute 12-month account roadmaps to align AWS services with the customer’s business goals. Revenue Expansion: Drive upsell and cross-sell opportunities Executive Presence: Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) with CTOs and CFOs to demonstrate the value delivered and optimize cloud spend. Contract Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations for Private Pricing Term Sheets (PPTS) and Enterprise Discount Programs (EDP). Churn Mitigation: Proactively identify "at-risk" accounts by monitoring usage patterns and resolving technical or billing roadblocks.
Required Qualifications Experience: 2-5 years in Account Management or Customer Success within the IT/Cloud industry. Industry Knowledge: Proven track record of managing accounts with monthly recurring revenue (MRR) of ₹10L+. Technical Depth: Must hold at least the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner; an AWS Solutions Architect – Associate is highly preferred. Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze "Cloud Health" reports and Cost Optimization data to give actionable advice.
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
