You will be joining Amazon Pay India's team as a seasoned UX Designer, focusing on enhancing consumer-facing experiences with Amazon Pay, one of India's leading payment platforms. Your role will involve working on various payment use-cases such as Rewards, Automatic Payments, Post Transaction Experience, and Bill Payments to ensure the delivery of top-notch end-to-end experiences for customers. To excel in this position, you must possess strong problem-solving skills, storytelling abilities through visuals, expertise in system design thinking, and a passion for designing elegant payment experiences with meticulous attention to detail. Collaboration with Product Managers, Engineers, and organizational leaders will be key to ideate and deliver exceptional experiences for customers and partners.

  • *Key Responsibilities:**
  • Design a superior payment experience.
  • Ideate, build, and maintain scalable design patterns applicable to different payment use-cases.
  • Drive agreement on design choices by applying usability heuristics and data.
  • Lead and collaborate on essential research studies to gain insights into user behaviors, needs, and motivations, translating them into actionable design solutions.
  • Develop scalable wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to convey concepts throughout various product lifecycle stages.
  • Identify, design, and document reusable patterns to scale the design philosophy across integrations.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and designers.
  • *Qualifications Required:**
  • 5+ years of design experience.
  • 3+ years of experience delivering design solutions as a UX designer or interaction designer.
  • Possess an available online portfolio.
  • Proficiency in prototyping (HTML, XHTML, JavaScript, CSS, Flash or Flash Catalyst, or Axure).
  • *Preferred Qualifications:**
  • 2+ years of experience in mass-market consumer web/mobile products.
  • Previous experience collaborating in a team environment and directly working with developers for design implementation.
