Private Equity Associate - Infrastructure

We are working with a leading global investment firm to identify an Associate for its direct investing team with a focus on energy and infrastructure investments. The platform has a multi-billion-dollar AUM and invests across a diverse set of sectors through a flexible, value-oriented approach.

The team focuses on control and non-control investments across the middle market, partnering with management teams and sponsors to drive long-term value creation.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and execute investment opportunities across a range of industries and transaction types
• Build detailed financial models and perform valuation analysis
• Conduct due diligence, including industry research and company analysis
• Support deal structuring, negotiation, and execution
• Work closely with portfolio company management teams on strategic initiatives
• Prepare investment committee materials and internal presentations

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, or leveraged finance
• Direct investing experience in Infrastructure or Energy sectors
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skill set
• Experience working on M&A or principal investment transactions
• Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
