Job Description

Your Opportunity:

East Edmonton Urgent Care Clinic is growing and hiring Registered Nurses who prefer evenings, nights, weekends, and work that makes a real difference. At this time, patient intake hours are Monday to Friday from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. While intake ends at those times, care often continues beyond intake hours, and some shifts may extend as late as 2:00 AM to ensure patients already in the clinic receive safe, complete, and uninterrupted care. This is an urgent care environment, intended for non-emergent conditions; however, patient status can change. Nurses must be prepared to quickly recognize deterioration, act decisively, and escalate care appropriately when situations evolve. You will put your strong assessment skills, sound clinical judgment, and ability to respond rapidly to good use in this fast-paced setting. No two shifts are the same, and flexibility, adaptability, and confidence are essential. This role is well suited to nurses who enjoy variety, embrace the unexpected, and take pride in seeing care through from intake to resolution. Care decisions are made collaboratively within a strong, supportive interdisciplinary team where nursing expertise is respected and valued. You’ll thrive here if you are committed to patient-centred care, confident in your clinical judgment, and motivated by the impact you make when timely care matters most. Your urgent and emergency care experience is put to meaningful use, your certifications are valued, and your contributions are felt every day. Apply now and join a team dedicated to caring for Edmontonians when they need it most.
