Project Manager/PMO Consultant (Pharmaceutical Pre‑Launch)

Travel required - 4 scheduled workshops in 20 months pre-scheduled candidate must be okay to travel to Boston & Cambridge MA and
have appropriate Visa or right to enter the US
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced
Launch PMO Consultant
with
7 years of experience
supporting pharmaceutical
pre‑launch and launch readiness initiatives
. This role will focus on PMO operations, cross‑functional coordination, and launch execution planning across multiple workstreams and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Launch PMO Support
- Track launch readiness status and progress for functional teams and leadership
- Maintain and update launch tracking tools, templates, and summary reports
- Follow up with functional leads on next steps, risks, and interdependencies
- Support ongoing pre‑launch PMO operations and governance
Meeting & Workshop Facilitation
- Prepare for and facilitate routine launch meetings and launch readiness reviews
- Lead bi‑weekly cross‑functional launch meetings and quarterly launch readiness reviews
- Plan and facilitate 3–4 cross‑functional strategic workshops to align on launch strategy, surface insights, and drive decisions
- Document outcomes, action items, and decisions from meetings and workshops
Planning, Communication & Risk Management
- Identify key milestones and develop plans to ensure critical launch activities are executed on time
- Identify risks and gaps, propose mitigations, and support scenario planning
- Draft executive‑level and cross‑functional communications
- Maintain centralized documentation and internal onboarding materials
Governance & Launch Planning
- Review and assess existing launch plans and roadmaps
- Align on deliverable expectations and core PMO priorities
- Support definition and refinement of launch governance processes
- Pressure‑test current plans and propose targeted improvements based on launch best practices
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of experience leading or supporting pharmaceutical launch planning initiatives
- Experience working across multiple therapeutic areas and markets
- Strong PMO, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience facilitating cross‑functional meetings and workshops
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Willingness and availability to travel to Boston/Cambridge, MA

- Familiarity with launch governance frameworks and readiness models
