About this opportunity:

Akkodis is looking for an experienced, Top Secret cleared IT Security TRA Analyst to support a defence client within a classified environment. You’ll work to strategically support the client’s systems and provide advice regarding policies and procedures.

What You’ll Do:

• Monitoring, evaluating and providing hands-on assistance in long-term strategic areas as well as the department’s daily operations.
• Reviewing and proposing amendments to legislation and guidelines concerning governance, performance reporting and risk management.
• Reviewing and providing advice regarding public agency direction, planning and performance.
• Identifying, researching, developing and suggesting the implementation of policies and procedures that will serve to strengthen the department’s operations.
• Reviewing documents on current and emerging issues, including briefing materials, position papers, speaking points, policy research, corporate reporting, protocols, media information and presentations for consistency with departmental and other government department positions.

What You Bring:

• 10+ years of experience working as IT Security Analyst.
• Experience providing Incident Response support for classified networks.
• Experience in the development and assessment of Threat Risk Assessments (TRA)
• Experience in conducting Certification and Accreditation (C&A) requirements as a security practitioner on a Government of Canada classified network.
• Experience in the development, review, and updating of technical documentation.

Security Clearance:

All candidates must possess a current and valid federal government Top Secret Clearance.
