Job description

Akkodis is seeking an experienced IT Desktop Support Engineer to provide end-user technical support in a fast-paced enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have strong desktop support experience, excellent customer service skills, and expertise in Windows systems, hardware troubleshooting, and IT service management.

Pay Range:$30-35/hr on w2 without benefits. The salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5 years of enterprise desktop support.
  • 5+ years of experience using IT Service Management tools, preferably **ServiceNow**, including incident management and ticket tracking.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting desktop and printer hardware, including motherboards, RAM, hard drives, and other internal components.
  • Experience working with OEM vendors for hardware support, warranty claims, repairs, and equipment replacement. Experience with the **HP Warranty Portal** is a plus.
  • Experience with hardware inventory management and asset lifecycle management. Knowledge of **ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management** is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience installing, configuring, and supporting **Microsoft Windows 10/11** in an enterprise client/server environment.
  • Strong experience supporting **Microsoft 365** applications and deploying systems using imaging solutions.
  • Experience providing executive-level (VIP) technical support with exceptional customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to support users via phone, Microsoft Teams, email, and in person.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, and other conditional functions.
  • Experience using SharePoint for planning, collaboration, and documentation.
  • Experience supporting mobile devices, including iPhones and iPads. **Microsoft Intune** experience is preferred.
  • Strong experience creating dashboards, reports, and queue management within **ServiceNow**.
  • Strong knowledge of Level 1 networking concepts, VPN troubleshooting, and connectivity diagnostics.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
