Applications Project Manager/Lead

As a Project Lead/Application Manager at Airbus based in Bengaluru, India, your role will involve independently managing Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) for Operations, Maintenance, and Development of Engineering & PLM Solutions applications. You will be responsible for adhering to standard software development and operations processes, utilizing specified tools to ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases.

• *Key Responsibilities:**
• Support the application and its registered Software Components
• Deliver necessary documentation and manage initial service set-up in ServiceNow
• Oversee the application's lifecycle throughout the In-Service Phase, including managing releases, modifying responsibilities, implementing technological advancements, revising various dates (e.g., planned end-of-life), updating information flow, and monitoring support through ServiceNow
• Manage the start of the retirement process with the business owner as per MyPortfolio standards
• Define, set up, and manage a project for application-related activities
• Prepare and maintain documentation describing configurations and procedures for installations
• Manage Roadmap, Deployment Planning/Coordination, Regular Status Reporting, and Resource Management
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities related to applications
• Support and propose application performance improvement initiatives
• Drive Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) activities and collaborate with key stakeholders for future planning
• Ensure on-time delivery and quality by effectively resolving problems, incidents, and requests
• Maintain awareness of potential compliance risks and act with integrity for Company's success
• *Qualification Required:**
• [Master/Bachelor] degree with 6-9 years of extensive experience in Application Management
• Expert working knowledge of ITIL-based processes for ALM
• Over 3 years of experience in leading or participating in complex release and deployment activities
• Experience in navigating all stages of product delivery lifecycle and technical validation
• Certified in ITIL, experienced in developing best practices, and proficient in resource management
• Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies
• Proficiency in English, knowledge of German or French is an added advantage
• Expertise in Project Leadership and full SDLC management
• Basic understanding of Cloud technologies, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines
• Desirable experience with integrating AI tools within application systems
