About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior UX Designer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in shaping the user experience of NovoEd's platform, designing scalable and engaging online learning experiences used by some of the world's leading organizations.

As a senior member of the design team, you will take ownership of key projects, guiding them from initial problem exploration through to final implementation. Your expertise will help ensure that our platform remains intuitive, accessible, and aligned with user needs and business objectives. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop innovative solutions that enhance user engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will bring over five years of experience designing products that serve large-scale end-users and clients. You should have a proven ability to solve complex problems through strategic thinking and user-centered design solutions.

Proficiency with the complete design toolkit—including wireframing, user flows, high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, user interviews, and usability testing—is essential. Expertise in design tools such as Figma, with advanced features like components and design libraries, is required. You should have experience maintaining visual and interaction consistency within established design systems and contributing to their evolution.

A strong visual design foundation with meticulous attention to detail and pixel-perfect execution is necessary. An understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1) and inclusive design principles is also important. Additionally, experience designing responsive web and mobile experiences, along with a basic understanding of HTML/CSS and development constraints, will be valuable.

Familiarity with AI-powered features and GenAI tools to enhance workflows and personalize user experiences is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, collaborative, and social online learning experiences used by Fortune 500 companies, universities, and training organizations.
• Take ownership of 1-2 major projects simultaneously, leading the design process from problem identification through to final implementation, ensuring solutions meet user needs and business goals.
• Partner closely with product management to define project scope, explore multiple design approaches, and develop well-reasoned recommendations based on user research and data.
• Create production-ready mockups and design assets, collaborating with engineering teams to balance quality, feasibility, and technical constraints.
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions to validate design decisions and deepen understanding of user goals and behaviors.
• Proactively align stakeholders, communicate design rationale, and propose solutions when challenges arise, adjusting scope as necessary to meet project objectives.
• Contribute to shaping the product strategy and roadmap by providing insights and innovative ideas based on user needs and industry trends.
