About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team, supporting our Eastern Canada territory, with a primary focus on the Montreal region. The ideal candidate will be fluent in both English and French and reside in the Montreal area. This role involves providing technical sales support, account management, and trusted advisory services to our customers, partners, and Canadian Federal Government clients.

The Systems

Engineer will work closely with Territory and Partner Account Managers to promote and sell RUCKUS networking solutions.

Key responsibilities include conducting consultative solution discussions, delivering technical demonstrations, designing network architectures, managing proof of concept evaluations, and presenting technical content to diverse audiences. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong technical acumen, industry knowledge, and experience in an end customer-facing Systems Engineer capacity, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and technical expertise.

Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess at least five years of experience working with Wi-Fi and switching vendor solutions such as RUCKUS, Brocade, Juniper, Arista, Cisco, Cisco Meraki, Aruba, Aerohive, Xirrus, Extreme, Dell, or similar. A solid understanding of troubleshooting complex technical problems is essential, along with excellent technical presentation skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Candidates should have a comprehensive understanding of pre-sales engineering processes, technical sales strategies, and critical account management. Residency in the Montreal region is required, with the ability to travel up to 50% of the time. Full bilingual proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written, is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-sales engineering activities, including network design, radio frequency planning, bill of materials creation, sales opportunity engagement, and technical training in both individual and group settings.
• Develop and execute a territory account plan by analyzing industry trends and business economics across vertical markets to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain a working knowledge of RUCKUS Networks’ wireless, wired, and software solutions to effectively support sales and technical discussions.
• Serve as a trusted technical advisor to end-customers and partners, differentiating and positioning RUCKUS solutions competitively.
• Assist Territory and Partner Account Managers in driving revenue growth by supporting solution sales and achieving quota targets.
