Designation: Sales Manager – Pharmaceutical Machinery (Tube Filling Machines)
Location: Jogeshwari East, Mumbai
Qualification: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering (or equivalent)
Additional qualification or familiarity with pharmaceutical processes will be an advantage
Experience: 5–8 years of proven experience in industrial equipment/machinery sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical or process‑industry segment
Must have prior experience in selling imported machines or similar pharma packaging/filling equipment in the Indian market
Strong record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and convert leads for imported machines and pharmaceutical packaging solutions across India
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with pharma manufacturers, CMOs, and contract fillers
- Understand customer technical requirements and coordinate with technical teams for demos, proposals, and post-sales support
- Present product features, technical specifications, and ROI to plant managers, production heads, and procurement teams
- Prepare quotations, lead negotiations, and close deals within defined timelines
- Manage sales pipeline, coordinate with operations/logistics, and ensure timely project execution
- Provide market feedback, competitor insights, and new product opportunity inputs to management
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical packaging / filling processes (preferably tube filling or similar equipment)
- Experience in selling imported industrial machinery (not just local equipment)
- Ability to present technical concepts to engineers and plant-level decision makers
- Capability to manage multi-location accounts and travel extensively across India
Proficiency:
- MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- CRM / sales tracking tools
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and regional languages (Hindi / Marathi / Gujarati)
Preferred Attributes:
- Existing network in pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing sector in India
- Experience in import-oriented capital equipment sales (duty, import processes, etc.)
- Experience in project-based selling and handling large-value orders

Regional / Zonal Sales Head / Director
