As a Sales Manager for Pharmaceutical Machinery specializing in Blister Cartoning Machines, your role will involve the following key responsibilities:

  • Generate and convert leads for imported machines and related pharmaceutical packaging solutions across India.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with pharma manufacturers, CMOs, and contract fillers.
  • Understand customer technical requirements and coordinate with technical teams for demonstrations, proposals, and post-sales support.
  • Present product features, technical specifications, and ROI to plant managers, production heads, and procurement departments.
  • Prepare quotations, handle negotiations, and close deals within defined timelines.

  • 58 years of proven experience in industrial equipment/machinery sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical or process-industry segment.
  • Must have prior experience in selling imported machines or similar pharma packaging/filling equipment in the Indian market.
  • Strong record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

You should possess the following required skills:

  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical packaging/filling processes, preferably tube-filling or similar equipment.
  • Prior experience in selling imported industrial machinery (not just local equipment).
  • Comfort presenting technical concepts to engineers and plant-level decision makers.
  • Ability to manage multi-location accounts and travel frequently across India.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM/sales-tracking tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English and local languages (Hindi/Marathi/Gujarati).

  • Existing network in the pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing sector in India.
