Our client is seeking a Social Media Specialist to support the execution of social media strategies across multiple digital platforms. This individual will help create and publish content, support audience engagement efforts, assist with paid and organic campaigns, and contribute to the growth and visibility of the organization's online presence.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys balancing planned content with real-time opportunities, and has experience creating compelling social media content across a variety of formats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, schedule, publish, and monitor content across multiple social media platforms.
- Develop engaging digital content including social posts, graphics, videos, and campaign assets.
- Support organic and paid social media initiatives designed to increase audience engagement and brand visibility.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to translate organizational priorities into effective social media content.
- Track campaign and platform performance metrics and assist with reporting efforts.
- Maintain content calendars and project timelines using project management and social media tools.
- Ensure messaging remains consistent with brand standards and communication objectives.
- Stay current on platform updates, trends, and best practices to inform content strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in social media, digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Experience creating social media content including written copy, graphics, and video.
- Familiarity with major social platforms including Instagram, Threads, X, Facebook, Bluesky, and LinkedIn.
- Experience supporting organic and paid social media campaigns.
- Knowledge of social media management and analytics tools.
- Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
- Experience with bilingual or multicultural audience engagement is highly preferred.
- Spanish language proficiency is a plus.
- Experience with YouTube and TikTok is preferred.
